Lecture on Proposal Writing organised by ACOMIN, Abeokuta

ACOMIN General meeting Held on 29th November, 2011 at ATM House, Ibara Abeokita.
The meeting started by 11.30 a.m and was chaired by Mrs. Fatoki. She welcome members present and gave reasons for the absence of the coordinator and deputy coordinator. There was self introduction of members present. Minutes were read and corrections effected for adoption of minutes.
Mrs. Fatoki admonished the executive members to join the workplan committee for effective and efficient deliberation as no member of the committee was present at the meeting. She further instructed that proposal writing committee should submit their report to the executives.
The house was briefed on the ejection of ATM from the building currently used to hold meetings dues to poor management and lack of activities within the building. Mr. Adebanjo (Admin personnel ATM) explained what transpired and the fact that alternatives has been made else-where for ATM in another location by the owner of the apartment.
Lack of submission of report for ATM projects was raised and GenDi and 2 other organizations were acknowledged for their timely submission of reports. A return of the project executed to the tune of N5,000 was paid by GenDi as requested.
The house was briefed on the letter written to the commissioner of health. There was no response yet. Issue of sustaining the ATM was raised and there was a joint agreement that the house should look as sustainability in projects executed within the network. Allowances received by coordinators were discussed. It was unanimously agreed that coordinators should pay rebate to the house. Mr. Enitan was questioned on his involvement in illegal sales of drug during the malaria campaign which he denied; members were enjoined to adhere strictly to rules while executing projects.
Dr. Mrs. Ashimolowo reported the outcome of the proposal training committee and went on to train members on act of proposal writing. It was highly participatory as members contributed to the lecture. Motion for adjournment was moved 2:05p.m. Mr. Emmanuel
